The Skinny
Some trees live a life in obscurity never to be seen by human eyes (or the headlights of an approaching racecar). If a tree falls in the forest, does it make a sound? Heck, for most trees, you wouldn't even know it existed in the first place. The Oak Tree at VIR is one we know. It might be gone now but it isn't forgotten. Especially if you wear your Big Oak shirt and look in the mirror.
