When life gives you Le Mans, you turn those triangular shortcomings into strengths. Uncommonly strong efficiency at high rpm suddenly makes sense when you're screaming down Mulsanne at over 200mph lap after lap. The engine is gonna be rebuilt at the end of the race anyway, so the only apex you need to worry about is what's in front of you.
