When you’re flying through the Col de Turini at triple digits, with a rock face on one side and a few medieval-looking cobblestones separating you from the sheer drop on the other, that small footprint starts to make sense for a lot more than just city centers. Before turbochargers and all wheel drive re-wrote the rally rules, size mattered.
