To race at a time when engines were so much more developed than safety, you had to have the kamikaze in you. This Canadian certainly did. Considered by some contemporaries to be among the fastest ever, the only thing more prominent than his driving style is the legacy he left.

Artist Profile
A car freak all his life, Rob is an independent creator armed with a Transportation Design degree. He's worked at several product design firms and just came off a 15-year stint designing Hot Wheels at Mattel. He loves all kinds of cars, having owned Volkswagens, BMWs, Mustangs, and several Japanese cars over the years. His garage currently holds a never-ending 1968 Mercury Cougar project and a 2016 Chevy SS. When he’s not designing stuff or wrenching, Rob enjoys photography, cycling, travel, and working on his mid-century ranch house. He’s always looking for the next big adventure.
