Betrüger, betrüger! So maybe (ok, definitely) the Germans bent the rules a bit to take this crafty coupe racing, but at the time, the idea of a V8 3-series could only exist with a bit of a wink-wink. Turns out, more cylinders are more better, taking home an ALMS and two 24 Hours of Nurburgring wins before retiring in Bavaria's skunkworks vault.
