365 days later, and well over that count in tee designs new and old, there's a lot to look back on from the whirlwind that was 2023. But we're not here to talk about futuristic pickups, lost submarines, or the Roman Empire. We're rolling out the metallic red wrap and cracking open a bottle of 10W30 to give it up for the hundreds of artists that can add and then promptly delete "professional t-shirt doodler" from their LinkedIn, and all of the exciting projects that were rendered, trimmed, screened, loaded, inked, cured, and shipped over the course of the year. Here were some of the highlights deserving of the golden torso.

Staff Picks From the Year
From its economic use of color palette to its bold and graphic shape language "Little Thrummer Boy" manages to make a very strong design using very few elements. It's a striking image that manages to tell a story that is both Christmassy and irreverent, and very much Blipshift in nature.

Not only does this design perfectly encapsulate the full-send vibe and wish fulfillment of this iconic film, it does so with entirely artist-generated flair. Those underbody bits aren't in any screengrab, but are masterfully drawn by hand. The tee wouldn't be the same without 'em. Try replicating that, robots!

Love the way this one elegantly tells a story with a gearhead punchline that not everyone will get, in just 2 colors of ink.

If I have to take a 24 hour bus ride it's not going to be on a Greyhound. I'm only taking the express.
